Vic Alhadeff is former Chair of Multicultural New South Wales.
- former Editor of the Australian Jewish News, during which time he reported on major world events, including
- reporting from Moscow on the campaign to free Soviet Jewry;
- from East Berlin when the Wall came down;
- from Tel Aviv during the First Gulf War and on the assassination of Prime Minister Rabin;
- And from South Africa on that country’s historic elections.
He is the former chief sub-editor of The Cape Times in Cape Town.
He has written two books on South African history.
He was born in Zimbabwe and his paternal grandparents were murdered in the Holocaust.
And he has run 25 marathons..
